Oh my goodness, I'm back!

No really, I AM back! I haven't been here in a while, but I have had the urge to play a little Sonic lately. It seems that times have improved since my last visit. However, I don't approve of how some of these times are achieved. In my opinion, glitches should not be allowed on this competition site. I'm mainly talking about Sonic 1, where various bugs have been exploitied for crazy times. I see no fun here, and think this breaks what I and others may call the "spirit of the game." The game designers did understand that they wanted a fast character and fast gameplay, but didn't mean to not patch up the game perfectly. So, yeah, if I do play Sonic 1, I know my scores will be bad.
Maybe I should stick to my old good game, Sonic Advance 2. Of course, I haven't played it in a while, but it shouldn't be too hard to adapt back to.
